Harvesting and mulching machinery

Harvesting and mulching equipment includes wear-resistant components which must withstand contact with branches, sand and stones. Likewise, these housings of these machines could be easily damaged by foreign objects if they were made with standard steel grades.

ArcelorMittal has a range of products available which can meet the design requirements of harvesting and mulching equipment. These include:

  • Heat treatable boron grades
  • Our Amstrong® range of high strength low alloy (HSLA) and ultra high strength low alloy (UHSLA) steel grades.

A number of wear resistant grades are also available from ArcelorMittal Industeel.
