ArcelorMittal at Coiltech 2016

The demand for new electrical machines is becoming more and more stringent due to energy efficiency requirements both in automotive (CO2 reduction) and industry (Ecodesign directives).

For the first time, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and ArcelorMittal CLN joined forces to present to the Italian market our outstanding range of products and services for manufacturers of electrical machines at at Coiltech 2016, on 28 and 29 September in Pordenone near Venice, Italy.

The visitors on the stand, a variety of companies including steel service centres, shearers/lamination stampers and end-users (from appliances, automotive and industry sectors), warmly welcomed our presence and our range of products, including:

• iCARe^®,  the innovative and environmentally friendly electrical steels for the CAR of tomorrow. iCARe^® grades are specifically designed for hybrid and electric traction machines for automotive. It includes the Save low losses range to reduce heat and noise losses, the high permeability Torque range to allow fastest accelerations and the Speed range, developed for very high speed rotors.
• Our comprehensive range of non-oriented fully processed electrical steels, with the most appropriate alloying content – in particular silicon.  These electrical steels offer excellent permeability values and high polarisation, low core losses, high thermal conductivity and optimal mechanical properties

These high-added value products are proposed together a complete service offer:

• coils slitting in all possible widths and cutting to length with very tight tolerances
