More than 600 visitors joined the ArcelorMittal Europe stand at Bauma 2016, to discover some of our latest innovations, such as the new AS500® sheet pile, Amstrong® Ultra and Relia®.
Innovative sheet piling solutions on display for the first time to a wider audience
ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products, Sheet Piling showcased several innovations at Bauma:
The “Steel versus concrete” campaign was officially launched to heighten awareness of the multiple advantages of steel sheet pile solutions over other alternatives such as concrete.
Introducing Amstrong® Ultra and Relia®
ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and Industeel jointly announced the launch of Amstrong® Ultra and Relia®, ArcelorMittal’s new range of ultra-high strength and wear-resistant steels designed to optimise weight and reduce the operational costs of mechanical equipment.
Maximising performances with WireSolutions' Notor HP and Klondike®
Two of ArcelorMittal’s latest key products in wire ropes were on display at Bauma 2016: Notor HP and Klondike®. Developed for mining applications, Klondike®, launched in September 2015, can transport ores from deep underground mines with shafts up to 1000 m deep at high speed (16m/second). With a high service life, Notor HP is the perfect answer to extreme hoisting conditions, offering extremely stable lifting thanks to its rotation-resistant design.
Visitors had the chance to meet our experts and discover our new products through videos, presentations, brochures and a total of 13 exhibition pieces illustrating key end applications of our steels.

Bauma is the world’s leading sector event for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. With a total exhibition space of 605,000 square meters, Bauma is also the largest trade show in the world. This year Bauma broke all previous records and attracted + 9% visitors compared to the 2013 edition. 3,423 exhibitors from 58 countries and 580,000 visitors from 200 countries joined the event. Bauma takes place every three years in Munich.
