As from 2 January 2017, WireSolutions’ welded fences with Nature coating (0% PVC) Luxor®, Forte® Medium, Palma® and Yucca® is available in the Leroy Merlin stores across France.
According to Christine Saintagne, Senior Sales Officer in charge of the project: ˝Bissen is entering a new dimension and is getting organised in order to confidently manage this first big contract with a large retailer. To do so, a working group of 12 people has been set up.
An investment has been done in order to create a modern logistic platform dedicated to the Leroy Merlin contract only and enables to practice cross-docking*. Our challenge is now to guarantee our customers a perfect service, both in quality and delivery time, in order to make this partnership durable.˝
This is another partnership between ArcelorMittal WireSolutions and Leroy Merlin as we have been working with Leroy Merlin Poland to distribute welded fences as well.
*Cross-docking is a practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming semi-trailer truck or railroad car and loading these materials directly into outbound trucks, trailers, or rail cars, with little or no storage in between.
