ArcelorMittal at Mountain Planet

ArcelorMittal WireSolutions participated in Mountain Planet, the international meeting place for mountain professionals, from April 26 to 28 in Grenoble, France.

This year marked the 25th edition of Mountain Planet, the biggest international mountain professional trade show. Each year, Mountain Planet welcomes more than 900 exhibitors and international brands in its exhibition area of 50,000 m2. More than 23,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries join the event.

Promoting our best-in-class products for mountain applications

ArcelorMittal WireSolutions’ team presented our innovations for mountains applications:

  • Silent rope Whisper®, which has been improved in the last five years to get a very good shape and guarantee good interface with the line
  • Full Lock Coil with integrated optic fibres for communication if required.
  • A solid polyéthylène compacted core with a very low level of elongation. The level of stretch of our compact core ropes is extremely low at maximum 0,15% during the first 1500 hours.
  • HP8P ropes for slope groomers offering a lifetime which could reach over 1,000 hours

Visitors were very happy with the design of our booth especially with the dynamic information displayed on screen about our projects, XCarb®, and the services we are able to provide with our partner TEC Câble Bourg (splices, work on cable, maintenance…).

About Mountain Planet

Since 1974, and every two years, the Grenoble exhibition park is home to the biggest international mountain professional trade show. Exhibitors come from all over the world and from every field of expertise in the area, making the show the place to be for meetings, sharing experience, and learning about what the industry has in store for the future.

The show gathers together all of the players from the winter and summer mountain industry as well as designers of hilly urban areas. From start-ups to worldwide leaders, including professional and public organisations.
