Organised every 2 years, Made in Steel is the place to be for the steel market and it allows us to meet all our Italian customers in only 3 days.

Our customers enjoyed being able to talk to people from different divisions in one place. They also particularly appreciated to meet members of the ArcelorMittal management, such as Antoine Van Schooten, CMO of Industry and Digitalisation for ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products, who visited the fair on the first day and Gonzalo Delgado, CMO Region South West of ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products.
An increasing success year after year
Since 2005, Made in Steel has grown exponentially both in terms of exhibitors and visitors: in 2015 +16% in exhibition space vs 2013, +5% in company attendance and a strong rise of around 13,000 visitors with an attendance of international ones from 68 countries. The 2017 edition is no exception with growing figures: up 15% compared to the 2015 edition, with 14,714 visitors.
Despite being a construction-oriented event, we even received visitors from the automotive sector, or designers. Moreover, establishing the event in Milan gave it a more international angle and we even had competitors coming from Turkey or China who attended the event as exhibitors.
The popularity and attendance of Made in Steel will keep on increasing for the years to come and ArcelorMittal will sure continue to be present to ensure its visibility as the first steel producer in Italy.
Made in Steel in Milan is the leading steel fair in Italy and the most important Southern Europe event dedicated to the steel industry. It is a perfect combination of Conference and Exhibition that hosts numerous meetings, round tables and exhibitors from all over the world. The fair, taking place every two years, is the landmark for producers, traders, service centres, distributors and steel users. It is for ArcelorMittal the opportunity to meet Italian customers as well as the main European and non-European suppliers.
