  • Material Xperience 2018

ArcelorMittal at Material Xperience

ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and ArcelorMittal Construction teamed up to represent ArcelorMittal during Material Xperience, the professional event for interior designers, architects and creative professionals focused on materials, innovation and inspiration, which was held from 13 to 15 March in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).

All eyes on pre-painted steels

This year at Material Xperience, the spotlight was put on our high added value pre-painted steel. We promoted ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products’ Steel envelope but also:

  • A full wall displaying profiles made by ArcelorMittal Construction Netherlands with ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products’ Granite® Silky Shine Sienna (a colour appreciated by architects). Its purpose was to show how the light can play differently on a similar coating but with different profiles.
  • A cube displaying Granite® Silky Mat (a product used for the Leiden University) and Granite® Impression on mascaret profiles from ArcelorMittal Construction.

Enthusiastic audience

Visitors – from the Netherlands and from other countries - were many to come to our booth: architects, designers, developers, trend watchers… They were very satisfied with the information provided and appreciated the different samples available on the booth, particularly the wall with Granite® Silky Shine Sienna which was a big success. Architects and architecture students showed a strong interest in pre-painted steel and how it could be used for their projects.
