ArcelorMittal at Euroblech

Innovation is key to the future of steel as a sustainable solution for almost all industries. Over 75% of the steels in use today did not exist 20 years ago. As of today, the steel industry has developed more than 2,500 different steel grades.

As worldwide market leader, ArcelorMittal put innovation in steel at the forefront of its participation at Euroblech 2018, the 25th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition in Hanover which was held from 23 to 26 October 2018.

In Hall 17, stand B58, visitors had the opportunity to discover:

  • Amstrong® Ultra and Relia®, an extensive range of ultra-high strength and wear-resistant steels designed to optimise weight and reduce the operational costs of mechanical equipment
  • The latest innovations of the Granite® range: the Silky Shine and HDX ranges for facades, as well as the Storm and Quartz for roofs
  • Jetskin® and Magnelis®, two innovative metallic coatings, offering respectively high quality finishes and outstanding protection against the harshest environments

The stand was designed as a platform for dialogues and meetings with companies representing the entire sheet metal working technology chain, as well as key stakeholders of this industry. A great opportunity to discuss about supply chain with our Service Centers specialists, as well as digitalization and e-business.

ArcelorMittal has e-solutions which speed-up transactions, eliminate the risk of errors and reduce administrative costs. “We strongly encourage our customers to make the most of our digital platforms and enjoy the competitive advantage”, says Marc Billant, head of commercial digitalisation at ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products.
