ArcelorMittal and the “Fonds d’Urbanisation et d’Aménagement du Plateau de Kirchberg,” (“the Fonds Kirchberg”) have today announced that the architectural practice, Wilmotte & Associés Architectes, (“W&A”) is the winner of the architectural consultation to design ArcelorMittal’s new global headquarters building in Luxembourg.
ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products has started in June the production of its new grooved block rail profile 53K2 (MSzTS52) in its Rodange mill (Luxembourg). These rails are now being used for the construction and extension of the tramway infrastructure in Budapest (Hungary).
ArcelorMittal has been working for many years to continuously improve its steel sheet pile range and has implemented a rental business model for its sheet piles portfolio that allows both, the customer and the environment, to benefit from renting and reusing these products, thereby reducing project costs as well as the environmental footprint.
