Hywind Tampen will soon be the world’s largest floating offshore wind farm. It is currently in construction, using 200 tonnes of specialty ropes produced in France by ArcelorMittal WireSolutions Bourg-en-Bresse.

Customer @Waelzholz is using XCarb® recycled and renewably produced wire rod from ArcelorMittal Hamburg. The first 20 tonnes were delivered on 12 January. Together on the road to decarbonization - ArcelorMittal will supply the steel service center from Neunkirchen with low CO2 emissions steel as well as certificates for CO2 savings starting this year. EMW aims to be climate-neutral by 2030 for scope 1 and 2. In Europe, ArcelorMittal aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 35 percent by 2030, and globally the group wants to achieve net zero by 2050.
