CWIEME is Europe’s leading annual trade fair for the electrical manufacturing sector. From 14 to 16 May 2024, ArcelorMittal’s European electrical steels team will be on hand to discuss our extensive offer for both industry and e-mobility applications. You can find them at stand A.10 in Hall 2.2.
We’ll also be highlighting our latest electrical steel investments during CWIEME. Upgrades continue to be implemented at ArcelorMittal’s existing electrical steel mill in St. Chély-d'Apcher to improve quality and support new product development. Meanwhile, ArcelorMittal’s newest electrical steel mill at Mardyck is on schedule to produce its first electrical steels later this year.
Sustainability will be another key topic of discussion during CWIEME 2024. ArcelorMittal Europe continues to invest in initiatives which will reduce our carbon footprint by 35% by 2030. Electrical steel customers can also reduce their own Scope 3 emissions by taking advantage of our XCarb® green steel certificates.
