Throughout the summer, and until 7 September, visitors of the Constellations festival in Metz, France, are invited to discover a large number of immersive, visual and audio experiences within three artistic programmes. During the ASME Pressure Vessels & Piping Conference (PVP), ArcelorMittal's paper entitled “Consideration on Tempering and PWHT Temperatures of C-Mn and Low Alloy Steels for the Fabrication of Pressure Vessels: Smart Tuning of Heat Treatment Parameters” was awarded Best Paper of ASME PVP2018 (Prague) for the “Material and Fabrication (M&F)” track.
Construction has begun on a new wharf at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Rothera Research Station, and Z sections from ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products Sheet Piling are playing a leading role. The new wharf will be used to berth the RRS Sir David Attenborough, one of the most advanced polar research vessels in the world.
