Flat Products

ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products is the largest producer of flat steel in Europe and operates a network of 8 integrated sites and mini‑mills, together with primary and downstream facilities, located across several European countries. We produce a comprehensive portfolio of flat steel solutions, including hot‑rolled and cold‑rolled coils, metallic coated products, tinplate, plates, enamelled steels and electrical steels. Our products are designed to meet the highest requirements in terms of quality, performance, safety and sustainability, across a wide range of demanding applications.

ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products serves a broad range of strategic end‑markets, reflecting the essential role of steel in the European economy.

Industry comprises a diverse market, serving sectors such as construction, civil engineering, domestic appliances, oil and gas, renewable energy and industrial equipment. We offer the strongest value propositions for corrosion protection, including for solar applications, as well as organic coated steels for durable, aesthetical, and sustainable building envelopes and high-strength steels for yellow and green goods, and heavy transport.

Automotive is one of the most strategic markets for ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products. Through a comprehensive portfolio of advanced high‑strength and electrical steels, the division supports vehicle safety, lightweighting and the transition towards electrified mobility. We supply original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1s with solutions for body‑in‑white, chassis and battery applications, including low-carbon high-strength steels through our XCarb^® portfolio.

Packaging provides steel solutions, food packaging and a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. Combining performance, circularity and innovation, our steels deliver strength, formability and recyclability, fully aligned with circular economy principles.

Electrical steels play a key role in supporting electrification across automotive and energy markets. Through high‑performance non‑grain oriented electrical steels, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products enables efficient and reliable electric machines, improving efficiency and end‑user experience. Recent investments in France by ArcelorMittal support the energy transition and reinforce Europe’s industrial sovereignty.

Long Products

ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products’ facilities are located at 8 integrated and mini-mill sites in 5 countries. We are the leader in manufacturing of sections, sheet piles, rails, quality wire rod, rebars, and bars. Our steels are used in essential infrastructure and sustainable buildings, in the automotive industry, the energy industry, supporting the global transition to a low-carbon future.

Long Products supplies 8 key industries: construction, automotive, mechanical engineering, infrastructure, transport, energy, environmental protection, and sustainable building solutions.

Sections and Merchant bars offers the widest selection of sections – from small to jumbo.

Rails & Special Sections as a leading rail producer, offers a wide portfolio of solutions for railways, subways, tramways, light‑rail tracks, crossings, crane rails and rail components. We are also able to provide other special products such as cathode bars, track shoes and mining sections.

Sheet Piling is the world leader in sheet piling technology, offering a complete foundation solution from the concept stage to project execution. Our offer includes accessories, engineering and design support, special fabrication and finishing, and just‑in‑time logistics support.

Bars and Rods offers a wide selection of wire rod as well as special bar quality (SBQ), and forging billet. These products are used in a range of final applications.

Steligence^® is ArcelorMittal’s unique, holistic, and commercial approach to the construction market. Steligence^® offers customers a complete set of construction‑related products, services, and solutions.

Sustainable Solutions 

Sustainable Solutions is an in-house trading and distribution arm of ArcelorMittal which primarily provides distribution of long and flat products as well as value-added and customised steel solutions through further steel processing to meet specific customer requirements. Representing more than 300 commercial and production sites across more than 60 countries, it comprises:

ArcelorMittal Global Solutions

• Industeel has facilities in Belgium and France and produces special steel plates and forged blocks from carbon, low‑alloy, and stainless steels in thicknesses ranging from 4 to 1,200 mm.
• Building Solutions transforms coils into finished products such as profiles, panels, and facade sidings for any kind of building.
• Projects is a global one-stop-shop for steel solutions. The division provides complete, customised and sustainable steel solutions and services via 3 specialised, project-related business lines: Foundation Solutions, Energy Projects and Metal Fabrication.
• WireSolutions offers a diverse portfolio of low and high carbon wire products, including industrial wires, flat and shaped wires, cold heading quality wires, cold rolled wires, wire ropes, wire fencing, nails, and steel fibres for concrete reinforcement. Corrosionresistant product solutions are WireSolutions’ particular expertise.
• International sells a full range of products via a network of offices located around the world.
• Alliance Green Services (AGS) provides specialised services to the steel industry, focused on innovation to create value, increase safety, and lower environmental impact. AGS, which operates in 8 countries, has the experience, technology, and commitment to bring change to an industry with an increasing focus on carbon footprint and valorisation of residual wastes.

• Distribution Europe provides a wide range of steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and building products to small local businesses, major industrial companies, and multinationals.
