  • Product description

The pyrolysis of coal, at high temperature and without air, produces coke and gas (coke oven gas). The cooling of this gas allows the condensation of a black product that is coal tar, which is recovered after decantation. Tar is a viscous liquid at ambient temperature; its viscosity becomes low enough from 60°C.
