ArcelorMittal’s non-oriented electrical steels respond more to the most advanced requirements needed by our customers, with grades going beyond the requisites of Euronorm, such as:

• M230-50A grade for hydro generators
• M320P-50A grade for the new industrial motors IE4
• NO20 grade with a thickness down to 0,20mm for medical and aeronautics applications

On top of its product offer, ArcelorMittal offers a wide range of services, from technical support and co-engineering, to logistics and supply chain solutions.

Special Bar Quality

ArcelorMittal provides expertise in SBQ (Special Bar Quality) steels to make components for wind turbines such as shafts for generators, gear boxes, yaw and pitch control systems as well as bearings. Strong process control combined with optional thermo mechanical rolling allow us to offer durable steels for this highly demanding mechanical application.

ArcelorMittal offers a wide range of sections such as beams, columns, bearing piles, channels and angles including high strength steel grades such as HISTAR^®. Our innovative in-line heat treatment QST allows to combine high strength, good toughness and superior weldability. Available also as XCarb^® recycled and renewably produced.
