Michelangelo and ArcelorMittal steel, a perfect match!

6 November 2023

Sculpting artist Michelangelo Circo has a passion for art that pushes the limits of creativity. He creates steel giant sculptures that can be observed in several cities across Belgium.

Through his art, Michelangelo's objective is twofold; to make art accessible to everyone and to inspire younger generations to create.

ArcelorMittal is proud to support this talented artist in his approach. Industeel Belgium provided 12 steel sheets in grade S355, which offer good weldability with all conventional welding processes. The sheets, produced in the mill of Charleroi, were used to create masterpieces such as "The Golden Eye", "Rector", " Plasma – EMC" and "My Entanglement".

We are delighted to present Michelangelo Circo, an artist using steel and other recycled materials to create unique artworks that dazzle the eye and fuel the imagination!

About Michelangelo Circo

Belgian artist Michelangelo Circo creates large metal works and structures that reflect his vision of Time, Space and our real lives.

His main objective is to be able to "share [his] popular interpretation of certain subject matters such as Mathematics, Physics and Philosophy, with young people. They are the adults of tomorrow who will continue to build a better future".
