RBB and ArcelorMittal Europe have reached a sustainable deal

RBB Steel Service Centre and ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that is focused on reducing CO2 emissions in the supply chain as well as using XCarb^® solutions. This agreement marks ArcelorMittal's first partnership of this kind with an independent steel service centre in Poland, highlighting the pioneering role of RBB in sustainability efforts.

RBB is a long-standing customer of ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and has been buying a wide range of ArcelorMittal products for more than two decades, including hot rolled and cold rolled coils, hot dip galvanised products, and metallic coated products such as Magnelis^®, Jetskin^®, and Alusi^®.

In line with the recently signed MoU, RBB has booked its first order of hot dip galvanised steel produced via the XCarb^® recycled and renewably produced route. The product is also available with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) which has been independently verified.
