Agricultural buildings

Agricultural buildings require steels which can withstand the harsh environments found on farms. Steels used in these applications must resist the effects of the chemicals found in agricultural environments such as ammonia.

Recommended products include:

• Granite^® Farm (35 µm paint system on inside face). Farm is not sensitive to chemical agents used in agricultural buildings. Offers improved corrosion resistance for ventilated agricultural buildings which are not insulated.
• Magnelis^® coating comprises zinc with 3.5% aluminium and 3% magnesium). This corrosion-resistant metallic coating ensures optimal surface protection against long-term wear and tear and offers superior cut-edge protection. Magnelis^® performs up to ten times better than galvanised steel.
